The Sankofa Legacy Journeys™ — Ghana Program is a thoughtfully designed 7 to 10-day immersive experience created for professionals, entrepreneurs, families, and leaders in the Diaspora seeking to reconnect with their roots, explore economic opportunities, and contribute meaningfully to communities in Ghana.

Day 7 (July 31, 2026) — Cultural Market Experience,  Shopping & Beach Visit  (Last day for 7-Day Journey)

Day 8 (August 1, 2026) — Eastern Region Nature, Wellness & Transfer to Kumasi (Extended Program)

Activities:
✔ Hotel check-out for 7-Day Journey participants, and airport transfers and departure assistance
✔ Transfer to Eastern Region for 8 and 10-Day Journey participants
✔ Visit Aburi Botanical Gardens
✔ Visit Boti Falls & Umbrella Rock/Massage by the waterfall
✔ Visit Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm*
✔ 8-Day Journey participants return to Accra and check-in to Hotel.
✔ Late afternoon departure for Kumasi for 10-Day Journey participants 
✔ Night hotel check-in in Kumasi for 10-Day Journey participants

Day 9 (August 2, 2026) — Kumasi Heritage Discovery (Extended Program)

✔ Visit Kumasi Cultural Centre/Prempeh II Jubilee Museum

Day 10 (August 3, 2026) — Ashanti Experience & Return to Accra (Extended Program)

Activities:
✔ Depart from Kumasi to Bonwire (Kente cloth town)
✔ Visit Lake Bosomtwe (only natural lake in Ghana)
✔ Late afternoon departure for Accra
✔ Night hotel check-in in Accra

• Transition from the cultural capital to Accra and relaxation

Departure Day (August 4, 2026) — Final Departure (Extended Program)

What’s not Included

✔ Daily lunch is on your own. However, you will be guided to get lunch.
✔ Airfare or round-trip flight from your home destination to Ghana.
✔ Tips for staff who provide tours (example, tips can range from $2-4 per person)
✔ Entry ticket for Massage Session at Waterfall in Eastern Region (costs roughly $15)


Requirements

✔ Yellow fever shot (at least 10 days before arrival)
✔ Ghana visa (Visit the Ghana Embassy website in your country or you can get a visa on arrival in Ghana)
