Tsavo Park, one of the largest parks in the world and the largest park in Kenya, was split into Tsavo West and Tsavo East due to its size. Large elephant herds rolling and soaking in crimson dust are a common sight in Tsavo East, making for picture-perfect sights. The Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, Mudanda Rock, and the Lugard Falls, which pour into rapids and crocodile-filled pools, are some of the area's other highlights.
Highlights in Tsavo West include Chaimu Crater, a fantastic location for viewing birds of prey, Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, and Mzima Springs, a series of natural springs with significant populations of hippos and crocodiles. Kenya's Tsavo National Park is the best place to go if you want to be alone, have privacy, and have the ability to explore the nature.
